Mom's been asking me for recent photos, so we finally took some and here are a couple. The boys have discovered baseball, just like every other little boy in this country.

Nepal: A Wonderful Place

This is one of the oldest temples in Katmandu. Beautiful place, dusty, and an interesting smell. The streets in town gave new meaning to the word "congested."

The food was great. I actually gained about 3 pounds.

I'll give you a prize if you can name this mountain in the tiny Himalaya's.

Well, I went to Napal last month. Had a great time. I was asked by a bicycle shop owning english conversation student of mine to go with him and do some translating while he taught them how to pull off the mountain bike Asian Championships. He volunteered me to coach their national team as well. Crazy uh? I even saw a goat sacrifice, have some great pictures.

Summer Camp in Minagawa!!!!

We just got home from our annual obon camp. It was good as usual. What is obon? Annabelle asked that same question to Gramps Ueta and he told her that the four days of Obon , August 12-15, is the time when the dead spirits come back for a visit and grab your feet and pull you under while you are swimming. We had a good laugh at that only because the swimming time had ended. We always go to a lovely spot in the middle of nowhere called Minagawa. It is a small pure river, freezing cold, and quick running. Kids love it. I, Wade, have a hard time finding excuses not to swim in the ice. This year was easy, had a fever for the first couple days of around 39.4 C. Wasn't feeling so good. Shoko put in a lot of hard work to make it all work. So did her folks. Kids loved it, we swam, ate smores, played games, talked by lantern light and played with fire. Here are some snapshots of it all.

Well, thought we'd show all our little cabin along with our .1! This little baby is the .1 in the Lewis 6.1, nope, there is no new little baby on the way. Sorry Grandma.

Happy Birthday Hannah!

Today is Hannah's birthday. She is a whopping seven years old. Here are of couple photos of that glorious day when she was born, and a couple when she turned one.

Well, Jeremy and his lovely wife have been blessed with a brand new handsome boy. Made Shoko wanna have another one in fact. Me, I'm OK with getting out the old pics and going down memory lane.
